People eat everything you give them. But if you give people a mechanism to limit what they’re going to have for food later on, people actually eat less as a consequence.

Because I look beyond the rich world and I see five and a half billion people only a few years away from their first smartphone, which in most cases will also be their first computer, and their first Internet device. Those three revolutions will hit the developing world all at once—and the repercussions will be epic. Today’s bubble is nothing compared to tomorrow’s boom.

The statistics only include time spent with e-mail on computers, so the decline may be somewhat offset by teenagers using e-mail on their phones.”
